On Thursday March 15
2012 an afternoon tea was held for the top twelve Year 11 high achievers
from 2011. Students also invited their parents and teachers. This was
an occasion to recognise and celebrate the academic achievements of
these students and to encourage them to further success in Year 12. In
her address to the group, Acting Principal Heather Whittington commented
on not just the excellent results achieved by these students last year,
but also the variety of subjects and interests within this group.
Catering was provided by the VET Hospitality Certificate II class,
with guidance from teachers Tess Henry, Bec Roberts, Rosanne
Browning and Melinda Williams.
